The NIL is an independent organisation that has been representing the collective interests of companies, institutions and individuals working in the field of welding, gluing and other permanent joining techniques for over 85 years. We maintain a strong (inter)national network in which cooperation in the field of education and technical innovations is central. We focus on three pillars: education, certification and information.
The NIL adds value by sharing validated knowledge and connecting companies and welding professionals. That is why NIL has introduced Conneqt: the platform for companies and professionals in welding and adhesive technology to stay up to date with the latest developments in the welding world. These professionals are part of a community where validated knowledge is the starting point. The validation of all this content is the result of intensive collaboration with knowledge partners, technical committees and the international network of IIW and EWF.
