What is manual laser welding?
Manual laser welding is a welding method in which MIG/MAG welding material is welded by means of an intense infrared laser beam. This method is very effective and fast and can be used for welding steel, stainless steel and aluminum sheet metal. The weld made in manual laser welding is similar to a TIG weld, but due to the reduced input of heat, the quality of the surrounding material remains higher. Thicknesses of 0.5 to 7 mm (steel and stainless steel) or 6 mm (aluminum) are not a challenge for this method, depending on the machine chosen.
Advantages of this welding method:
Energy-efficient
Up to 4 times faster than traditional welding
Up to 65% less consumption of welding consumables
Little or no post-processing required
Hardly any distortion
Less heat input
Very user-friendly
100% duty cycle.
